Oopps...

Sorry... My bad... Wrong video :/ This is it I'm sure!!

Walking Girl

WOW! What do you think I thought when I turned to find our little Bella Boo walking!! Granted she was using her high chair - But enough of the specifics!! SHE WAS WALKING ALL ON HER OWN!!!! YAY for the Bella Boo!! I was at the table busy cutting and turned to see her walking past and giving me the biggest and proudest grin I have ever seen!! She did it all by herself! Stood and then off she went! I quietly and as quickly as possible got the camera out to film it! After a few seconds she realized that she had my attention and thought that she would stop walking and crawl over to me instead... What a big girl! She will be walking in no time!! And then she will be into even more things! *UGH* You win some you loose some ^_^...

Almost there...

This is my quilt! Well ok... so it isn't finished yet - but I'm getting there !! This is my first quilt! It will be finished soon - I hope before we shift - and be ready in time to be hung in our new home!
I have to redo the center rose block because I scorched the calico on the outer part of the block - Sigh - it took me ages to do it and will probably take me just as long to do it again! But what can you do when you seek perfection!
I have been having a dreadful time trying to get my machine to a satin stitch and have taken it in for a service just to make sure there isn't anything wrong with it... But alas no - it is the operator not the machine that can not get it together to do what is wanted!! So I have had to change the design of the quilt to suit my needs. Meaning it will look nothing like the original pattern but here's hoping that it will still look ok.
When I am finished I will surely let you know! Until then I will keep persevering till I have achieved satisfaction.

Just Like Daddy...

Kaleb and daddy sat together today looking at his gun. When Kaleb gets old enough - Like 16, he will be able to go shooting with Joe. All Kaleb can think about is his gun! He has bugged us something shocking to see it all day. But this is a two way street! It is a fantastic bargaining chip and all we have to do is mention it and he stops or starts...
Joe is drilling into him gun safety, like no pointing the gun at ANYONE whether it is loaded or not... And if he doesn't listen then Joe instantly takes the gun and puts it back in the safe! I dont even know where the key to the safe is! That is how protective Joe is about guns and safety!! Which is fare enough, we have too many little ones to be leaving guns around and being careless with them!!
It will be good for Kaleb and Joe to spend time together bonding. And if Joe teaches him what to do and not to do then there is less of a chance of an accident and silly play coming from Kaleb.

My Big Crawling Girl!

Look out world! Here she comes! Ready or not!
This is Ella this afternoon. She has known how to crawl for a few weeks but has only just discovered that if she crawls it will get her some where! Yesterday was the first time she even ventured off the carpet mat in the lounge... Now, today, she is turbo baby! Nothing seems to be able to stop her!! She goes into every room and gets into EVERYTHING!! And here I was hopping she might be the calm tame one since she was a docile baby- WRONG! With a brother and sister like hers how can she not be a little cyclone too! *SIGH* Cyclone or not - they all have character and big hearts!! I love them all dearly and wouldn't change them for anything!

BABY # 4

What do you think of this pic??
Kaleb took it! I KNOW!!! How fantastic is it?? He did a really great job in my opinion! I am not actually as big as the picture portrays but that is ok :) you all get the idea! I'm now 22 weeks I think??? I keep loosing track... SHAME!!! He took it this morning when he got hold of the camera - cheeky thing! But its all good! I've been trying to get a pic of my tum for ages... yet have been putting it off coz I can never get one I like! Well! I like this one!!

Proud as Punch!

BE PROUD EVERY ONE! I AM!!!

This is just something I threw together last night! What do you think?? It's really the only thing that has worked out for me in this sewing and nesting binge! Everything else turns out wrong and makes me feel worse :( But that is what you get when you rush a project and THIS is what happens when you take your time cutting and measuring and doing it properly! BOUT DAMN TIME SAYS I!!! The other side of it is purple - This side is meant to be pink - but I took the photo at 8:30pm so it is kinda darker than it is suppose to be :) But that is all good! You get the idea!!

Anyways I'm off to make some burpies if I can manage it!! I hope to be just as proud and have some pics to flash around too!! Toodles

Again...

Just to keep everyone up to date, I'm pregnant again... Have been for a while ;) but keep forgetting to update the blog.
I'm about 22 weeks now and we have discovered that the baby is a little girl! That will be three girls and one boy!! The great thing about having another girl is that I don't have to buy any new clothes! I have EVERYTHING I need already and it's all in the right season too! She is due on the 10th of July - yes... that is 8 days after Ella's first birthday :P... What timing!! We are excited! Joe and I are having some difficulty with the name though... He likes things that I don't a visa versa. But isn't that always the way??

Big Boy!

Wednesday, 27th January 2010

Today is Kaleb’s first day at prep! It is 12:09pm and I wonder how he is doing?? He goes to a little school of about 70 students called Wheatlands State School. There are 17 children in his class including him and 4 of those are year 1 students (it is a composite class).

Kaleb got up at the usual time of 6am (in our bed as usual!) to find daddy bringing in his new uniform, shoes and socks. When Kaleb saw what daddy had brought in for him he asked, “Am I going to big school today??” “Yes.” I replied. You should have seen his face! It lit up like nothing else!! J He sat down with me on the bed then and said, “Mum I want you to do something for me…” “Yep.” I answered. To my surprise he said, “Can you throw my bottle in the dump!?” “Sure can. But you know that you won’t have it for tonight or again?” I told him. “YEP!” he shouted!

UNREAL! He has been attached to that silly bottle of years and to take it off him was a night mare.. But he was very happy to give it up today!!! J Good on you my brave boy!!

Joe and I had to tell Kaleb a few things that he could and couldn’t do at school such as, when he needed to go to the toilet he needed to ask his teacher first and that he couldn’t shout out, “ME NUTS ARE BUSTING!” like he does at home.

He was ready to go to school by 7am! He was so eager to get out the door he could scarcely stand still! Nanna Goosy called to see how he was doing but he didn’t want to talk… way too excited!!

We firstly took Caitlin to day care and then went and picked up daddy at work so that he could come too!

So off we went! Daddy, Mummy, baby Ella and Kaleb! When we got to school some other little preppies were crying very loudly and Kaleb called them sooks – only when we were in the car though… Daddy then needed to explained that Kaleb could not tease other children that were scared to leave their mummies. After that we went to his class room and found a desk to sit Kaleb’s things were put on his desk including his drink bottle. His new teacher, Mrs Brimblecomb, told him that he needed to go and put his bag in the port racks on the other side of the yard, so off he ran to do what he had been asked. Mummy and Daddy watched as he hurled his bag on to the top of the port rack, landing with a great big thud! Trotting back into the class room Kaleb tripped, but was not phased in the slightest, instead of crying he got up and ran away as if he had not even tripped. He looked around his new room and then asked if he could go outside to play on the slide and took off like a shot, with his new hat, when permission was given. After that Daddy and Mummy didn’t see much of Kaleb as he ran and jumped and played with the others! During this time Mummy talked with Mrs Brimblecomb, who is called Mrs Brim by all of the children, then they decided that it was time for them to go. It took a few minutes for Mummy and Daddy to find Kaleb as he was playing and running all over the place in his new school yard. When they finally found they told him they had to go now so that school could start. Hugs and kisses were hurriedly given (more so by Kaleb them by Daddy or mummy) and off he rushed again to play with all of the other children, without a backward glance!

So here I sit writing this and wondering if he is having a good day or not??

Caitlin was so upset later on in the morning about Kaleb… she thought that Joe and I had send him away!! Poor little thing! We will have to take her with us this afternoon to pick him up so she can see that he is coming home and what all of this means!!

And then there were 3...

My children from left to right

Caitlin, Ella, and Kaleb

Newbe!!

WELCOME ELLA LOUISE GUY!

So... What does every one think?? I personally am in love!!

Wanna hear the baby story?? If not then don't read the rest of this post :) If you do keep your eyes where they are!

Little Ella Louise arrived at 12:43am on Thursday morning. She is 6pound 11ounces and is a great feeder and poos alot!

I was on Facebook at about 7:15 and was pumping (trying to pump my milk) away for about 5mins (trying to encourage labor - bad move!)
I heard this big as *POP* and knew my waters just busted... Nothing was coming out yet... but I knew. I didn't want to move coz I was worried of gushing all over the new carpet (silly I know)!
My Joe was having a mini fit... he didn't want to deliver the baby at all much less at home on his own!!! He calmly (as calmly as one can in this type of situation) got the kids into the car and we went off to the hospital - I "had" a reputation of having 30 min labors and we were 30 mins away from the hospital, so we had to get there... Everyone at the hospital was ready for us to get there with baby in hand... but unfortunately it was just Joe and i who strolled up the ramp to the hospital and no baby...

A friend took the kids for us. She came to get them from the hospital and strangely she brought the Relief Society President with her!! Both their families were having dinner!! How funny!!

It was almost 8pm - BUT NOTHING WAS HAPPENING!! My contractions were irregular - VERY irregular. Soft tightinings of the tummy... then uncomfortable pain then HARD CORE nasty as pain! They were not going to send me home coz we lived to far away and because my waters - which were dribbling out green, meaning baby had pooed inside and was in a little distress- had already broken. Yet they were not too worried. I was though!! I still had to get this baby out!! That meant pushing!! CRAP! What had I done!! Why did I want labor to come on so soon????
At about 12am my contractions started to get NASTY. Sat in a hot shower that did squat all to help with the pain and got stuck in there wanting to push!
Midwife told me not to push till she had done an internal! WTH??? NOT PUSH!!! (This woman had obviously not had a baby!) She told me to get onto the bed and lie down so she could see what was going on. NOT COOL LADY! After she poked me I got onto my knees to wait... Another contraction came hard and fast. I didn't want to push but I couldn't help it! I had too... Mid scream and push MID WIFE told me to stop pushing again coz she was alone and wanted someone else there with her! She asked my DH to go and call someone - I WAS MID PUSH AND SHE WANTED ME TO LET GO OF HIS HAND!!! WTH was she thinking??
ANYWAYS... Ella literally slipped in to the world less than a few mins after that...
I was so tired... But so glad and felt so blessed to have my little girl safe, healthy and OUT!
That damn clotting needle hurt more than the labor almost! I swore when she stabbed me! Didn't even do that during the labor...

Ok... So we are home now... Just so tired but soooo happy...

On the Hunt

I have just been chastised! Joe saw the blog and asked if I was ashamed of him coz there were not enough pictures of him!! What a thing to ask! So here are some pictures just for you dear!
These are of Joe out shooting - his favorite past time if he can manage it! What does he shoot?? Anything that moves! No... He is a resposible shooter, but would love to go and chase down a pig or a goat or something exciting like that! Bear would be FANTASTIC and a moose would be nice too... But that will not be happening - not in our back yard at least! We might just have to go and visit some family! ^_^!

Fat Pictures!

These are of me during my pregnancy... Bottom one is of me at umm... 20weeks I think?? And the one above is of me at 30?? I will have to check them... I also have another one that was taken Thursady but it is on a roll of film and needs developing... So when I put it on this page hopefully there will be a picture of the new baby too!

Ages!!

It's been like total ages since I was on here last! But I have decided that I need to pick up my feet and get bloggin again since I have like a whole bunch of family over seas.

So what has been happening??

Ummm... We are expecting again... in a few days I hope! I went to the doctor on Thurday and he said that my belly had dropped and that I should get ready for any time now. But this is a baby we are talking about so what is the likely hood of her doing what we want?? Ummm??? Like a million to one!! Oh - By the way she is a she! Another little girl! YAY!

Kaleb thinks that it's exciting and this morning was lying on my tummy trying to get close to her. Caitlin on the other hand thinks that she has to fight the little SheBean for her place in the family! It has been very hard on Caitlin. She has no idea what is going on or what to expect when SheBean gets here (where as Kaleb has an idea - having had a sister before). I think that she is very scared that she will get sharfted... No chance in that - she is such a strong willed little girl!

We are all organized for the arrival and I'm more than excited - though my excitement is turning quickly to anxiety. SheBean is due on the 2nd of July... Not far away but sill a long way off!! I am tired and sore and have just had enough...It is now just a waiting game. The children are starting to feel my anxiety and they are being little brats! Teasing one another and not doing as they are told. I can no longer take them out shopping either. Caitlin runs from me and says "Hahahaha! You can't get me!" coz I honestly can't catch her! Both children are pushing EVERY single button! And I'm so high on hormones that it's like I have turned into this ugly green monster! GERRR!!

Other than that??? Oh! We have finally moved into our new home! Joe is outside washing the windows and walls and getting rid of cobwebs and that nasty dog/wee smell that the house reaked of when we first came here. He is very proud of this house and so he should be! He and his dad have worked wonders on the inside and in the yard! Everything looks so lovely and to be honest I'm glad that we moved even though it was cutting it close to the arrival of the baby. We still have alot of things to finish off outside but all of that can be done in time and we don't need to rush it. I think that the main positive of this house is NO MICE! What a big bonus! Not just that there are no bugs at all either!

I am so relieved... those were some of the things that were really contributing to my anxiety and depression. That of which is coming under control now too. I'm doing a whole lot better and I am not even on any medication! I had to come off it for that baby's sake. I have dicovered the things that trigger my anxiety and depression and now know how to mangage them with stratagies and distractions. All in all I think that I'm doing the best that I've done in many long years. Even with all of the pressures that our little family has faced!

I can't hear the children any more?? I wonder where they have gotten to or what they have gotten into! Better be off! Toodles!

Blue Koala

While I was at a youth conference, a few weeks ago, daddy took this picture of the most gorgeous little blue Koala in a tree in our backyard... I am told that this particular type of Koala is so rare that this is the only one of it's kind!! Not only that, but this tree is the only tree in the world where it will live! How fantastic is that?!! I'm very excited to have such a special rarity of my very own! (He! He!)

Amazing!!

This is one of the rare shots where both children are looking at the camera and are smiling!! They are sharing too!! A double bonus!!! Are you shocked? I am! And I'm the mother!!!

Beautiful

This is what I saw on Saturday. It was a stunning day! Not too hot and not too cool.

My Vini

This is my Vini. He and I are great pals! I'd rather Vini than Jasmin. She is definaly Joe's dog! I seem to trip on her far too much and can't seem to trip on Vini at all! Go figure? I'm still not sure how to turn pictures around?
